Price list for our photographic digitising service – Slide, photo, negative, video and cine digitising services price list.
We offer a trial scan service, send up to three slides, negatives or photos with a stamped addressed envelope for return and we will e-mail you demo scanned images. With all of our standard services there is no minimum order size however our minimum charge is £15 for your scanning order plus p&p and usb/disc. Prices subject to change without notice. With all orders we routinely provide high resolution edited images of 5-8mb to view on tv and computer and add a set of ‘ipad-web sized images’ images at less than 1mb for you to view easily on a tablet device or to share easily over the internet. USB included on all orders over £300. We recommend sending your items by ‘special’ Royal Mail delivery or Parcel Force. Please make sure you include your e-mail address with your order as a minimum – Optional Order Form

SLIDES: 
35mm slides – 30p per image saved as Jpeg.
(This is the most used service and include a set of normal sized high quality jpeg images plus a set of tablet / websized images to share or view on an ipad or similar device.)
35mm slides – 40p per image saved as tif and returned with a duplicate jpeg set.
(Used for archiving and as standard includes duplicate set of large jpeg images plus tablet-websized set for internet sharing).
Digital ice as standard, all images are individually edited – cropped, and colour adjusted. Saved at up to 4000 dpi (up to 9600 by request, additional charges apply) These images are around 7mb for a jpeg and 70mb for a tif.

We deal with damaged and unmounted slides as required and these may incur additional charges which we would clarify with you.

Medium Format and Large Format ‘wet scanned’ (4×5 in and 8 x 10 in) only by arrangement.
We apply a mild restoration process to reduce the effects of scratches and artefacts as standard. All images are individually edited – cropped, and colour adjusted. Larger or smaller file sizes may be possible, please discuss with us before ordering. For a full and detailed restoration of medium and large format negatives at high resolution please contact us to discuss your order.

Individual Photo restorations are priced according to the time we will need to scan edit and restore plus organise high quality prints. These are arranged by meeting with us, or posting to us, so we can examine the image (s) and discuss your aims for the restoration and final print.

£14 per tape each up to 180 min. Saved as MP4 to usb or mpeg to DVD / Blu-ray (Discounts given for larger orders).

MEDIA AND POSTAGE:
All digital media saved on USB or, for large orders, an external hard drive. DVDs can be supplied on request. USB or DVD at £7.50 each for orders up to £300.
USB or DVD included on all orders over £300.
Our price list is updated at least annually. With all of our standard services there is no minimum order size however our minimum charge is £15 for your scanning order plus p&p and usb/disc. The usb we provide will plug into usb ports on compatible tvs and computers for you to copy, save and share your images or movie. We can also provide DVDs or Blu-Rays if you prefer. Send your orders with a covering letter including your name, address and email address, to our office address at the bottom of the page – If you wish you can use our webpage order form or download our Word Format Saturn Films 1969 Order Form.
Turnaround time – If you know how many images you have to be scanned we can provide an approximate turnaround time. We scan and manually edit each and every image using Lightroom and photoshop before transferring to your digital media, also we only charge for usable images. The larger the project the longer this will take but we do not rush our work. Forget posting to us and expecting it back by return, if a firm is offering this then you should question what you are paying for – examine the Price list for photographic digitising and make sure you are getting the service you need and expect.
Return postage for all orders at cost price with Royal Mail special delivery or other appropriate tracked and insured delivery.
Film processing:
We may be able to get your old film processed. Obviously results cannot be guaranteed but we will proceed if you feel their may be precious memories to preserve. The cost of this service begins at £10 per film (plus usb and return postage) and will vary for each commision. A deposit of £10 per film to be processed is required for this service.
BESPOKE COMMISIONS:
Photo editing and restoration projects are individually priced according to the amount of work involved. Scanning at 9600 dpi is available, call us to discuss your requirements.

We will e-mail you on receipt of your project. An invoice is generated when the project is completed (unless this is a massive project being paid for in installments). The current price list is applied to large projects. We accept payment by bank transfer ideally but can take a cheque if you do not mind waiting for it to clear.

Trial Image Scan Service
If you would like to try our service please send us 3 images and a self addressed return envelope. We will scan and e-mail the pictures to you returning your photos in the envelope you provide.
