Well it has not been great has it ! Climate change, Brexit, Energy prices, war in Europe and Covid.
Climate change is a major factor we cannot forget, governments are trying to play down the IPCC report and this must not be allowed to happen. On the positive front suddenly renewable and nuclear are back on governmental agendas!
Brexit has brought probems for people with European trade, that includes our business where the European customers have disappeared ! Gas and oil prices through the roof and filling up a car requires a mortgage. Covid has not gone away. War in Europe. Can it get worse?
Anyway as I always say “It is what it is!” lets get on with it – or as some figures in government might say ‘lets party’.
Enough rambling lets give you an update on our business.
The bad news. Obviously our costs as well as everybody elses’ have gone upward and we, like so many others, have been forced to reluctantly increase our prices. We took a good look at our range of services and compared our quality and charges with our competitors. I believe we remain the best high quality, value for money, service.
The good news. Last month we had some interesting feedback. A customer using our trial service had compared us with several of our competitors. At the end of the day he chose us because of our quality, most of our pictures – 5 in this comparison – were better than the competitors with one that was comparable or perhaps not as good.
This was welcome quality control for our service assuring that we are providing high quality competitve scanning.
