Well yes I have been back at work for nearly a month! The trip to the Faroes seems to have come and gone too quickly and I am now planning a return visit.
I was talking with my daughter Rachael yesterday and she said she wanted to move to Costa Rica for a year. I replied, after some thought, that I could move to the Faroes and live there quite happilly. I do not think I could get bored with the scenery or the people or the way of life. But if I did move there I would not want to live in a tent.
So back at work and I have had projects on photo restoration, slide scans, family photo albums to reproduce and a small video project. There has also been the small task of completely rebuilding www.nvcrossstitch.com this is wifeys cross stitching website and it was underperforming – so I have changed the cart from zen-cart to Woocommerce to see if this makes a difference (if cross stitching is your thing have a look, there is a sale running on some of the kits until the end of the month.
Talking about the Faroes again there are still loads of pictures to revisit and edit. I have promised framed pictures for the kids and it is going to be an enjoyable task selecting them.
Floodlights at Torshavn Stadium – if you ever want to screw up your sense of perception sit in the new Torshavn football stadium and look at the floodlights. It is so difficult to see which way they all bend. You look at one and think you have got it then you look the other side of the stadium and your eyes go funny!!!!!
Finally Happy Birthday’s to Laura and Daniel – time passes too quickly!
