Rollei posing on computer
Not very long ago I fulfilled an ambition. I purchased a Rollei. Although the original leather case is a bit knocked about the the camera is in good condition and I am very happy with it as a peice of historic decoration but also as a working instrument.
A bit about the camera – It was a ‘square’ idea and it changed photograpy:
A Rolleicord camera
The first Rolleiflex Twin Lens Reflex ( TLR ) was introduced in 1929. It was an ingenious, simple principle and it made the Rolleiflex the “go to” professional camera worldwide.
The camera produces excellent images , is compact, easy to operate and had one of the best lens available.
For decades the camera was used by professionals for newspapers, magazines and books. The camera provided such good quality images it was always going to be a hard act to follow.
I have a source of film and I have a business partner who will process and develop the film.
So now from time to time I will be posting more about the adventures I have with my Rollei
